I have given you detailed statistics to back up my statements. The Pakistani government & PM have said 35000 people have died in this WOT. They have not clarified how many innocent people or terrorists have died. And their statement matches perfectly with the statistics I've given to you.

About tribals, you don't seem to be aware of the basic facts (again). It is about Pushtun tribals. Read up on the ethnic issues between Muhajirs and Pushtuns in Karachi including what happened on May 12, 2007.

Tribals live by tribal customs (Pashtunwali), not Pakistani Law. The people who live in Karachi are Pakhtuns, not the tribals. There is no tribal system in Karachi. I know exactly what I'm talking about, speaking as someone who's lived in Karachi. Karachi has 9 million Mohajirs & 7 million Pakhtuns, so there is bound to be some ethnic tensions there unfortunately. Everyone has a stake in Karachi.

Well, there is also another possibility that he is misinformed about the statistics, just as Bush was misinformed that Iraq had WMDs & Saddam had ties with Al-Qaeda. My point is, it is probably an honest mistake by the Pakistani PM, & I've given you statistics from credible sources that prove my viewpoint. Can you show me detailed statistics from a Pakistani source that show that 35000 innocent civilians have died? I don't know why you are making such a big deal out of this.

I am not convinced with this number at all. We have never seen such a large scale operation where thousands of terrorist were killed (and verified by independent observers).

I am not convinced with this number at all. We have never seen such a large scale operation where thousands of terrorist were killed (and verified by independent observers).

Over 10,000 civilians have been killed as well, as well as almost 4000 soldiers. So 20,000 is not an unimaginable figure. Year by year statistics of the casualties have also been presented in the link:

Unless you can give me detailed statistics that show otherwise, it is futile to doubt these figures, especially coming from a neutral source.
