What's new

indian movies potrayal of Pakistanis

I can think of so many movies where Pakistanis are not seen the way you describe

1. Tere Bin Laden
2. PK
3. Bajrangi Bhaijaan
4. Lucky bhag jayegi

I guess they overdo the Urdu but that's probably just to show differences in language. I don't see how that is offensive.

I have many Muslims friends. others way, we live in same society and from childhood i used to go to my Muslims neighbors during Eid for to get edi and eat sevai.

We speak almost a same language ( hindi & urdu). There are some difference but don't find any big difference. Being a hindu i send my kid to Christian school for better study because school is best in our town and my neighbor Muslim kid goes to same school.

And yeah, you will be disagree and you will say that we don't belong to same culture because we belong to east culture. However, doesn't matter if dont know their language.
indian muslims are as foriegn to us as you.. only difference is religion...

Urdu? lol... its not even native to 92% of Pakistan and yet somehow you think some dude from Muzafarnagar has the same culture as a Pak sitting 2000 miles apart? come on.

Umm... do you know what you are talking about?

Everybody in pakistan speaks Urdu. In the National Assembly they speak Urdu. What do you think they speak? Pashto/Balochi dialect?

.
Whenever i watch an indian movie with Pakistan army or any other Pakistani, why do he or she always behave like Nawab of hyderabad and speak Gulabi Urdu with "JANAB JANAB".

what do indian think about Pakistanis? They try to show like we are living in caves and in every home, their is a father with beard who is very strict and dont want women to talk.
why do they always show Pakistan army wearing shalwar kameez and deployed on indian borders wearing it?

plz avoid troll. Its just to know what common indian think about those 3 things shown in bollywood. Or we may find a reason of such depiction.
Question is why you want to watch their shitty movies?????

Does your highness think urdu is spoken in provincial assemblies apart from panjab?
Im sorry... you need a fuking road trip... even the boards/milestones etc in other provinces are written in native scripts which are written differently than urdu.

Urdu isnt my mother tongue... yes I speak it to communicate with others... but thats about it!

I speak my own language(s) in my house, with my people... infact yes I do prefer it over a urdu...

Where are the native scripts? Maybe I could be wrong.

Instead of cursing with profanities, you should prove me wrong.

I live in Karachi... the stronghold of the urdu speaking community... they all speak "Urdu" the real thing... not what you speak in panjab... what you speak in panjab or her cities .. at max like 85% is considered a ghulabi urdu than anything else...

I could explain bro.... I was in delhi -5 years, mumbai - 3 years, hyderabad- 2 years and now bangalore - 2 years.

Within the India, i have lived with many people and in societies. I have seen different culture within hindu society and dont need to talk about others. I could not speak Tamil, kannada, malyalam and urdu. And also Living lifestyle is totally differ from one location to other and depends on people.

But what i learnt that this is best part of our country. Few incident happens but actually it does not impact our daily life. We people live together in a same society.

Even if pakistani's and Indians were living together till 1947. Now, we became enemy so that many things got changed, People are free to make more stories and teach both side of our people to hate against each other.

People of muzaffarnagar speak a dialect of Haryanvi, not Urdu. Haryanvi is the farthest thing from Urdu in India.

To be honest the Bollywood portrayl of Pakistanis is still relatively positive compared to normal people here as most of the Bollywood is Liberal Cucks..Bollywood actually try to present a positive image and Urdu being considered as " Soft language" is part of it.

There is a reason why every time an Indian comes to Pakistan, they cant believe how developed the country is ( I am talking in relative terms). This is just because they are blinded by propaganda. But it deosnt help them. For an ordinary Indian ( and I have met many here) Pakistan is a failing nation, where army and Mujahadin are marching on roads, there is no electricity , no mobile phone or internet. Every man has a cap on his head with long beard and women are covered from head to toe.

Also I think Indian members of PDF are much aware, they know Pakistan more than many Pakistani themselves. They know the weaknesses as well strength of Pakistan. Despite their abusive and discriminatory attitude, I respect them. I also believe its their moral responsibility to spread the truth among masses they come in contact and counter the propaganda.

What even your hyderabadi hooooraay speak is also way too different than urdu.. the only urdu spoken is perhaps in Lucknow.... which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too soft to be spoken even in karachi... where we have people from as far as Goa... we even have a Goan Gentlemens club here...
