Actually this is exactly what is expected in a democracy. Criticism of what people disagree with, people expressing their opinion. I can see why Pakistan cannot relate to the normal processes of Democracy. For you people any bad decision or bad statements by a elected representative is backed by "ulterior motives", usually foreign funding. But in democracy people disagree for the sake of having different opinions.

Guy was a Colonel in the army. He knows when to shut up and most likely speaks only when he is told to. Not for a moment do I believe that this guy is a loose cannon.

I agree such immature comments should not have come from a guy like him, and this is not the first time, He did something similar (if not worse) after the cross boarder raid.......

They are using him, he offers both credibility of the person as well as an easy deniability as a junior minister in I&B. A senior minister has no such free passes. You can see even by the comments in the OP, many don't take his remarks seriously. Those who need to will understand the nuance.
