Indian minister critically injured in bomb attack

ALLAHABAD: Minister for Institutional Finance of Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi was critically injured in a blast outside his residence in Allahabad on Monday.
According to reports, the incident happened near Nandis residence in Muthi Ganj locality of the city when the minister along with his security personal came out of his residence and was about to get into his official car when a bomb, planted on motorbike parked near the car, went off injuring the minister and four others.
Some other reports claim that the attackers came on a motorbike and hurled country made bombs and fired at the minister.
Although there is no official confirmation but media reports claimed that the minister is critically injured. He and the others inured have been rushed to local hospital.
