Indian military advances in recent years

With Pakistani army busy in Swat, Fata and Baloch, Indians are making huge advancements.

This is a matter of huge worry. What are we doing to counter these Indian advances? Are solely relying on nukes and long-range missiles?

Its just a feel good video with patriotic music. Indian Defense still has a long way to go before it can truly be considered "modern", but yeh its int he making.

With AK Antony at the helm, hopefully India can move few steps in that direction. Espicially with reagrd to streamlining procurement and removing corruption among Army purchasers in defence deals.

And i can see Why Pakistanis Are feeling a little edgy about India,s continual military spending $$$ thats alot of new Hardware Especially the Indian Navy !!!

guys ! you have not got the major change happening in Indian defence industry.
now private players are entering it (google a bit...you will find the names). so DRDO monopoly wont last long. competition from private entities will lead to better efficiency and project management in DRDO.Pakistani friends should be happy. they had lot of complains about incompetency of DRDO.wait for a decade. India may be a production hub of major weapon makers.

well ! when India makes any advancement it destabilise the region. accepted. becoz Pakistan cant be sleeping then. with similar logic we can not be sleeping when china makes advancement. and china cant be sleeping whn america is already so advanced....and america had nothing to do as soviet was there. then why blaming India alone.

Not Super power in USA terms with Global Dominance Vast Personal Wealth.

But a Regional player. A massive country in Geopgraphy People culture and now Economy.

They need to protect those interests with a Powerful Military capability.

There is nothing absolutely no obstacle at all in India getting 90% of the Hardware in that Vedio.

India has the GDP, military budget, Wide ranging International Allies from Russia USA Israel to Europe. for TOT and joint development.

Most important India has the Stable Gov,t to allow the World to pour in FDI and TOT for hitech weapons.

Unlike some nations The west is not afraid of india,s military and economic build up.... but actual approve it.

India can n t compare military advancement with china but Indian are sure trying. But there is a problem India already fought war against Pakistan. When ever India will make advancement Pakistan also had to catch up with Indian because of India Pakistan history.

about time, DRDO's history is pretty crappy. but with the privite sector involve it'll sure be a boost to the defense industry, but a mjor hub of weapons production...maybe locally
