Bal Thakrey has always been stupid. His party activist once dug out a Mumbai pitch before a match between India and Pakistan and all were promptly arrested and jailed. Even the other hate monger Thakrey (Raj) is undergoing court trial for his hate speeches against non-maharastrians and his party workers stupidities.

I agree that this is responsibility of GoA. They have to ensure safety of all foreign nationals. Their govt can be accused of negligence or not taking enough action. However direct state involvement does seem a far fetched theory. BTW, I too am saddened by the Australian govt arrogance.

BT is only talking about Maharashtra. What if matches are not played in the state. Then what purpose this whole exercise serves. None. Therefore it looks like a media stunt.
