there's a twist... on the first day of "secret santa" i arrived outside the office compound in a autorickshaw with the big bag containing the gifts... as i got down i saw her and her friends coming at a distance and to avoid their seeing me i hurried in and took the stairs and waited in the lobby for her to come by lift... i told her that someone had given the bag to me to deliver to her... she said she won't accept so it took some convincing.

some half hour later, in the office, she came to me and said that she had seen me getting down from the autorikshaw with the gift bag so it was my gift she said... she said she liked the gifts and the card with the small admiring poem.

you see, i thought a gift should be not frivolous but must be worthwhile and must forever remind the giftee of the gifter, especially if the gifter is a special person like me ( )... hence the cat ( the cheetah statue ) representing me ( ) and the artificial-diamond pendant.

from then on, i would call her miss suraiya and i think she was flattered... until months later when the assistant manager told me of her complaint... come on, i had only sent a little message admiring her clothes... actually i had said her tight shalwar suit looked nice on her.

i felt betrayed.

I feel sorry for you. But you had gone a little overboard IMO.
Could have gone the right way too. I usually maintain a professional behaviour in work place and don't talk about anything else other than work, because you simply never know what might go wrong. Well, except for one particular case, where I had known the girl from beforehand.

it was okay for me as i am a open and happy-go-lucky person generally so whether for those expensive gifts or the later things, i simply went along with natural flow... it was known in that office that i am a harmless and gentle person so it wasn't a problem that i flirted with the ladies, except for this one case.

but i see your point... like i said to hinduguy in my previous post, the fake-feminists have created a oppressive environment in urban society in the last ten years where even the best of gentlemanly flirts can be shamed, defamed and even taken to the police station on "sexual harassment" charges... these fake-feminists go against nature and should be acted against.

by the way, i came to know of this lady's complaint against me when the assistant manager called me to "talk to me" about my secret plan to start a employee union... someone had betrayed the plan or overheard it... that became a separate story but for the lady's complaint i was able to negate it.

I have seen people get into deep trouble at times due to unprofessional conducts. I know quite a few stories, due to the nature of my work and access I have, some of them weird, some of them outrageous.

Employee Union ? Hmm.. You do have a habit of shooting yourself in the foot, don't you ? Couldn't you have done that outside the office ? Effect could have been same. Most of these companies make you sign a clause that you will not attempt to start any such union, above certain grade.

you are right about the conservatism - conserving of traditional misogynist attitudes, and this has hijacked fake-feminism to create a wrong, actually anti-natural, set of regulations for the office environment... and fake-feminists go along with this because they are against any natural behavior by females.

i don't have a sister, but there is a widowed cousin who's generally the only relative that i talk to... she's a school teacher in another town and older to me and i consider her my sister... i don't take myself to have the right to enquire about her behavior in her school.

whatever might be the reason for anybody to draw a line, its upto that person. It applied to male and female equally. Everybody have right to say thus far and no more.

Similar experience with Industrybuying.Bought 4 RCBO's worth nearly 8K and then they delayed my order saying that the price of the products has gone up hence they can't ship the product.

Gave them a call saying "I don't really care about the 8K's but I'll make sure to screw you real bad even if I have to spend more money".

The order arrived after 2 weeks followed by 2 calls apologising for the delay.

Respected members, I need advice with an unpleasant experience with online shopping on Jabong. On 7th December I ordered a pair of crocs loafers worth 3244. Status immediately went to in Transit from Gurgaon, I am based out of Pune. Afterwards they kept on delaying for 2-2 days till yesterday. Today I got a call that the product can not be sent, and if I have to buy the same I have to pay the non discounted price which is > 7k. The other option they say is to get the money refunded. Same shoes (crocs Walu accent) are still showing as available on their website at an even more discounted price. I can not understand what's the matter with them. My money is with them for 11 days now, is it a method to earn on interest as there might be other consumers going for the same product? Now I have asked them to send me the same communication by email, I guess they wouldn't send it.
If you have faced something similar and know how to finger(consumer forum?) them, please mention. Not that I was holding my breath for the shoes, but nevertheless consider it a major breach in service. TIA.

Jabong is an e-commerce portal mostly they don't sell anything.It's the seller that probably screwed your order just like mine.Jabong has limited inventory and it's just an over glorified eBay.

I've purchased only 1 time from jabong. The tracking showed the courier reached Kochi for few days, and even after complaining no update. Later, I got a call from someone and I had to visit their "Gojavas" courier "office" (since, I'm in a suburban town) - man! it looked horrific to see that dumpyard where everything is simply put on the floor, messy sh1t. Never again.
