a carrier wants a big deck, a zumwalt design would instead minimize deck space, aka: exactly the opposite of what you would want for a carrier.

besides hull shaping is not as big a worry for a carriers because you are going to have tons of planes, trucks, bombs, men and other stuff on deck to ruin your rcs anyways

If all the stuff is kept inside? Ready planes lifted to deck for take-off, and landed planes carried back to lower levels?

then it would have absolutely terrible launch and recover rate (aka sortie rate), having to ready the planes below deck, then take them up for launch then when they return bring them below deck again. furthermore, "below deck" is essentially a hanger, we have those, there are very good reasons people dont do everything in the hanger.

It would be a trade off. Question is, is it technically feasible?
