What's new

Indian Mechanic invented an engine that uses air as fuel

Compressed air system energy storage. It is being used on industrial scale in UK to manage on peak off peak hours. Considering size of compressor it wont run more than 10-15 mins and that is the issue as energy required to compress also requires electricity.

its nothing creative , u can see in pictures he is using high pressurized air from two tank to run the wheel of dynamo which inturn is creating electricity so whts new

That is why people should study Thermodynamic in depth. He is using the energy from compressed air. There is more energy that goes to compress the air, then finally retrieved in the cycle.

Thermodynamics?

Where the hell does thermodynamic come into the picture?

It's just an air compressor coupled with air piston/rotor which itself is connected with dynamo. It's just electromechanics.

Thermodynamics include power generation from combustion of a particular substance, which in most cases is petroleum products, much like carnot cycle.

If you're hell bent on mocking certain religious figures or nationals on some out of context topic, I suggest you read about the context before commenting. That will make your mocking look more credible which here looks pretty stupid and trolling like

Although I think this project lacks innovation but still it has creativity. By judging the guy in video it looks like he didn't have an engineering diploma to work on concepts. Therefore I appreciate his work even if it's not innovative.

These are simple yet important people who inspire others around them.

Out of 5;
I give 1.5 points for creativity to him, But I give 4 points for inspiring other underprivileged people around him.

Thermodynamics is the basis of all energy transformations. Where does it come here?

Simply by following the energy.

First energy is used to compress the air. Let us take the amount of energy as E1.

Then the compressed air is made to perform work on a dynamo, that converts it into electricity. Let's take the work retrieved to be W1.

Then W1 << E1

The above is derived from Thermodynamical principles, like the second law of thermodynamics, and the maximum efficiency of Carnot Cycle.

Rather, the amount of conversions the guy did, would make it a very inefficient system. It would have been far better to simply use batteries to store the electricity, and then drive the vehicle. Yet, it doesn't solve the fundamental problem of fuels. Fuels are required for generating power, even for the vast amount of electricity.

But, despite being an inefficient plan, I would still commend the quest to try something new of the farmer. Kudos!
