LOL trust me I don't even think Indians want to be Indian. It would explain why you named your country after our river (the Indus), follow religions (Hinduism and Sikhism) that started in our land, why you almost worship the history of our region (IVC, Porus, Gandhara, Panini, Kanishka, Akbar, Bakhshali zero, etc), why so many of you claim ancestry from our country (pretty much every major Bollywood actor), and so much more.
