Apologies Sir. My bad. I trusted where it is written in the article that the President is the Supreme commander of the armed forces in Pakistan (of which ISI is a part of????)
Also I wrongly heard that President Zardari is slated to meet Prime Minster Cameron on this visit????
Really a lot of misinformation going around. I stand corrected. I am sure that the Gen. Pasha being the head of the ISI must be correctly being subservient to the democratic government.
Thanks for the correction.
I appreciate your concerns for the supreme commander but ISI head knows his job more than any one in this country or your country.
Gen. Pasha quite rightly canceled his official meeting with English counterparts as it hold no meaning while they openly declare all Pakistan terrorists, just a day before.
If you wish President dictate institutions against national interests than it is not going to come frictionless.
It is the right of every Pakistani to throw anti-Pakistan dictation back on the face of traitors with full force.
Now since the Pandora box about official trip is open and UK govt. has officially rejected Zardari's trip any thing but official.
Apparently, it is inept+corrupt govt. which have no shame on towing bharti agenda shamelessly.
So far Army has lead the relief activities and have earned more trust from Pakistanis than your favorite supreme commander.
Army is working relentlessly day and night to help the flood effectives and no one can match their services and dedication.
As far as President is concerned, no foreign state trusted him for petty food relief, he is only hindering in relief work and expected aid.
Shameful, govt. is asking the donors to help them with cash and using Indian TTP to threat independent relief projects.
