Indian Light Combat Helicopter TD-2 successfully tested by HAL

.
fanboy edit-most probably

Yeah, it was added most probably by someone from Bangalore on 26 June, 2011.
The sentence he added was "Srilankan army odered 20 light combat helicopters".

But that entry was his first on Wikipedia, so probably, it is a fanboy-edit especially without any source(s).

Congrats to Team LCH for the achievement. They are going fast. If everything is on time than we must see LCH Initial Operational clearance in end of this year.

True! What a difference of indigenous development, when they do such projects based on experience and know how they got through JV and co-developments isn't it?
Indian helicopter developments are really going the right way, but I still hope that they will go for a co-development of a medium class helicopter with NG features, instead of building just a normal one alone.

Actually all of our first project in all areas are delayed but after that all the second projects are fast and hi-tech. No financial or R&D constraints are the biggest reasons. DRDO/HAL has came a long way from the late 90s problems. They should be appreciated for their appreciated achievements unlike some idiots who knows very little about the things but compare India's efforts with US's neglecting the differences in R&D facilities and spending of both countries.
