There was a survery done a few years ago on people's attitude towards ther races. The survery showed some interesting information about differnt people around the world.
The interesting bit was, on the map, India was a dark shade of red and Paksitan was a light blue.
Red being highly intolerant of other races and blue being tolerent.

It is not us who does not want to associate, we are a very tolerant people. But we will not accept Indian Hegemony.

As for the Hindu right wing.....
I don't even need to say much, just the other day they killed a police officer (most likely Hindu) over rumors of beef eating.
Hindu rightwing is a cancer that has millions of followers and India needs to confront it.

There is a lot of racism in India. Mainly when it comes to inter community marriages.

The right wingers have lost power in a few places due to their backward actions. But then again, extreme left like the maoists kill a lot more. Extreme right of other faiths are a bit silent these days, aside from Kashmir.

There will always be some politicians inciting violence in developing countries.the public is readily fooled.

Casteism. Pops up every now and then, mostly in villages.
With the level of education and prosperity we have, it is no surprise.
