Indian Govt Warns Pakistan; Asks To Vacate Gilgit Baltistan

. .
India has officially lost territory to both Pakistan and China since the start of this year.

Modi is leaving an absolute mess of a cow turd for his successor to somehow clean up. Either someone is going to have to declare war to retrieve these newly lost territories or rescind Modi's comments (I.e. "hand territories back" to Pakistan and China).

I am now doubting that such a clown was ever in charge of a tea stall let alone a country of a billion.

Where did they get the audacity to threaten a neuclear power country.

GB is not even the part of KASHMIR ever read the history kid from neutral source, simply you want to sabotage CPEC, why you don't claim GB before (1947-2000)????
Lol, little boy do read up something once a while before your verbal diarrhea. GB is a part of the State of J&K which was under the Maharaja with a Governor named Ghansara Singh who was deposed by a British officer leading the Gilgit Scouts. Now go try and find the rest of history.

We will negotiate Jammu and Kashmir with the Chinese.

You are not interested in peaceful resolutions but they are.

wait for one week and negotiate for my village in sultanpur with chinese .

The entire Narendra Modi cabinet is an embarrassment to India. Particularly these worthless stupid uneducated ministers such as Rajnath Singh, Harshvardhan, Rajvendra Singh Rathore, Piyush Goyel, and others. Indians should now know the real reasons why we are being taken less seriously on the international stage ever since BJP came to power. It is these stupid ministers in high ranks. They are completely useless for all purpose.

Sure India has been claiming Gilgit-Baltistan since 1947. But a diplomatic protocol used to be followed. On all official memorandums, those areas were collectively referred by Indian ambassadors abroad as "Pakistan Occupied Kashmir" (even GB) and the official word was to resolve the areas under UN Resolution. The same with Pakistan that claims Indian side of Kashmir as 'Indian Occupied Kashmir".

I don't think Indian government made empty threats like these for those territories before 2014. Both countries followed an unspoken code of conduct on how to refer the territories in their respective media.

Just because Donald Trump is being Modi's adopted father, these brainless twits of BJP think that now time is ripe to issue empty threats to Pakistan, that too when it will be backed by China. No Uncle Sam is going to fight India's battles in Kashmir.

There are many other disputed territories in this world. Northern Cyprus is claimed by both Greece and Turkey, Taiwan is claimed by the People's Republic of China. But no countries issue empty threats to take over unless they seriously plan to do it.

The more Narendra Modi exposes himself as a hot air balloon, the more India's international image suffers. I don't think India can take over GB or AJK militarily, so all this posturing is doing more harm than good. It might win BJP the 2024 election but it will also cost India some of its territories in Kashmir and Ladakh.

When will Indians stop living in denial and fire the entire Narendra Modi cabinet, and replace them with more capable persons.

shit the fcuk up raja was nothing but planted by Britishers

To complete that project you need to get Burma [Myanmar] integrated, British flag hoisted and convince Prince Charles to occupy Vicroy House as new Viceroy.

And get the Queen designated as Emperor of India.

You'd want that, seriously? :woot: Why the British? Why not the Americans or the Chinese who are more powerful? Maybe it was in jest

I don't think the British Raj looked like that. There were nearly 700 princely states that weren't part of the Raj.

It is not as straightforward. Nothing really is in the subcontinent.

If I recall correctly, Gilgit was administered by a British political agent since late 1800s. The Maharaja on J&K appointed Ghansara Singh at the end, when he sensed the end of British rule in India. There was no Dogra governor previously. The British political agent took offense to the attempt of the Maharaja to establish his rule over territory that was controlled by the British, and deposed Ghansara Singh as you note.

I think it is safe to say was disagreement between the Maharaja and British over whose jurisdiction Gilgit came under.

The Indian EAM statement affects nothing with respect to the UNSC Resolutions or Pakistan's position.

Pakistan's position and its validity internationally, of implementing the UNSC resolutions and allowing a UN led plebiscite to determine the status of the disputed territory of J&K, remains unchanged.

then pakistan must first vacate the GB area completely, only then the plebiscite can be held. and that is exactly what India is looking for you do...

first of all its not occupied, its signed and integrated with India with instrument of accession. and you vacate the entire GB to conduct a fair plebiscite.
