Bangladeshi member , we are aware of the problems of girls in India and we agree it is somewhat worse than Bangladesh. The problem only is that the condition of girls in bangladesh is also very bad even it may be a little better than India .

Guys, The thread opener, did not give a solution to a universal problem of gender descrimination in Asia and Africa, rather his motive is to point fingers and others and say "You Guys have problems and we are great". I find it rather funny when we South Asians try showing off how we rank higher than each other in various rankings. The funny part is that MOST of the times our own countries are around about in the same area. Maybe a few places up or so. Lets just accept that we all have a really long way to go.

Before Bangladeshis start chest thumping here let me show you that India does better than bangladesh in justice , health and politics whereas bangladesh does better in education and economics.Overall bangladesh just gets a better ranking by 2 points .

The bottomline is that the entire south asia is low ranked for condition of women and none of us can throw mud at each other.
