Indian girl commits suicide over alleged gang rape

This is something on which no one should laugh or troll but instead to criticize, sorry to say everywhere in the world women’s are facing the same , even in one of the most developed countries where law is more strict on it..i will give an example of Saudi Arabia where rape punishment is death but still it happens. i feel really sorry for the girl and for her family and i hope they will have justice..

.
RIP for the poor girl.

Embarrassing day for Indians everywhere.

Indeed, I agree with you on this. I just wish these motherfuckers involved in this be burnt alive, lynched, cut into pieces and fed to the dogs. No other punishment will be a justice for this horrible horrible crime!! There will be riots on the streets if idiot Govt does not act against these piece of $hit born on Indian soil and who are huge blot on humanity!

Justice can only be delivered by prisoners of India. Make the life hell for rapists, child molesters, female baby killers and terrorists in our jails. Hope this message is received by them.

Hope we can change minds of few prisoners to do the work.

Yes, EXACTLY, This is what Ravana said thousands of years ago, but than He Died & India was Saved.

Again, At the time of Mahabharata it was said, but war ended & India was again very much there.

Alexander said this again in 320BC conquest of the world, but he also died & India was prospering.

Again Gauri, Ghazni, Mughals invaded India & everyone said "India can't be saved" but ALL rulers died & India survived.

British even claimed that if they leave India, India will be FINISHED forever but even after 65 years, India is the world's largest democracy, 10th largest economy, a potential world power & it is the UK itself which is getting increasingly saturated & look upto India & Indians to save itself.

Mate, if this massive plundering, lakhs of killings, looting, riots, conquering, change of rules, British imperialism, etc. could not challenge the very idea of INDIA, do u think a rape will make this great republic FALL??

Mate, INDIA is THE MOST OLDEST CIVILIZATION to be still present, Greeks, Romans, Persians all have long gone but India is still there. Sorry to disappoint u, but INDIA is TOO GREAT a country to be challenged by a rape.

you are talking in terms of power. No powerful nation has ever succeded to destory a country completly neither any civilization. But moral decline to accept social ills surely does drown a society.

anyway be happy its really sad to see men in subcontinent will continue to shame womenhood by brushing the facts under carpet

Well I was watching CNN and they announced that she died and showed pictures of protests of alot of different states in India. Nice to see it wasn't only students protesting.

Then I will have to hang my head in shame again, if my countrymen use this as an excuse to start rioting. This is not an issue that the government or police or coast guard can put an end to. It can only be ended by changing our society - and doing that requires a lot more effort and introspection than simply rioting and burning public property. Why should we respond to one horrific aspect of our society by indulging in another horrific aspect of our society? Rioting as a response to rape?

And note that even when it comes to punishments for criminals, it is not the government of India (at least, not the elected representatives) who can or should do that. It is the completely independent judiciary that tries criminals and punishes them. There is nothing for the government to do about this. Please understand how our system works, before recommending riots.

its instigating someone to commit murder and take law into hands . not a good idea when you dont have courage to support death penalty for the rapists and you are asking prisoners to carry out the task that too in a ilegal way

Who will make the laws? These ******* rapists ministers has to do the job and do you think they will make changes to the judicial system? Social changes will come if there is strong law and harsh punishments. but I am not expecting anything from these beyond hopeless ministers sitting in parliament and giving the plum seats to the minister who is biggest scum gunda.. This attitude of the political parties need to be change and only people (their votebank) on the street can incite fear in them and force them to change..

Delhi gang-rape case: "Amanat's" parents bore their ordeal with "courage and fortitude"

Singapore: When the young woman who has been the unwavering focus of India's attention and prayers died at a hospital on Singapore today, her parents were with her.

"I must say they bore this with a great deal of fortitude and courage," said Indian High Commissioner to Singapore TCA Raghavan

Their 23-year-old daughter who was traveling with a male friend was gang-raped in a bus in Delhi on December 16. The couple had just watched a movie together at a South Delhi mall.

The six men who were already on the bus struck the couple repeatedly with an iron rod before they raped the 23-year-old medical student.

To afford her education in Delhi, her parents had sold their small piece of land in Uttar Pradesh. When their daughter was fighting for her life in a Delhi hospital, they told Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar who visited with them that they hardly have enough to eat at home. Their meals, they reportedly told her, are often "roti and namak" (bread sprinkled with salt for flavour).

The Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit who met with them a few days later said they spoke of their concerns for their two sons, who are both in college. She said she promised them that government would assist in any way it could.

On Wednesday night, the family flew with the student on an air ambulance to a hospital in Singapore known for its expertise in organ transplants. The government had organised passports and visas for the patient and her family in a matter of hours, after the Cabinet cleared a proposal to fly her away if her doctors supported the plan.

By the time the media found about the plans to move her, three ambulances were waiting at her hospital in Delhi, two of which were used as a decoy.

The air ambulance arrived in Singapore on Thursday morning, the end of the journey had been a harrowing one with her blood pressure dropping and doctors performing emergency procedures to stabilise her.

At the Mount Elizabeth hospital in Singapore, a local paper The Straits Times reported that the family used interpreters to communicate with the specialists and staff attending to the student. (Read this story on The Straits Times)

The paper said that the student's father was "shell-shocked" but reassured that the best possible care had been arranged for his child. "Reassured that the best is being done for my daughter, and the rest lies in the hands of God," the father said, according to the report.

I know its not a good idea. But sometimes one has to kill the most evil people to get rid of the evil.

Ram killed Ravan.
Krishna killed Kans.

Amanat? was she by any chance a Muslim or the media is not using her real name?
