Is there an extradition treaty between India and Pakistan. No till that is signed it can be held they are going to be sent.

.
Its his personal opinion obviously countries aren't run on personal opinions. India will do whatever is good for her and for the region. Till now we've been living under western development hegemony still they think we can't solve our problems and grow together. We've to compete it first.

Thread is only for flaimbaiting.
GD Bakshi is a retired General .He has retired from the service long time ago.

Why lock the thread? He's an Ex-Military guy, working as a defense analyst, and he's writing what the entire government of India has been doing, trying to damage this project through supporting serious increase in the terrorist activity inside Sindh and Baluchistan, as well we trying to make plenty of noise to the Chinese at all level.

India knows very well that the trade route will jump start Pakistan's economy like crazy. Within the next 5 years, Pakistan's defense budget is expected to grow, equaling Turkeys (18-20 billions per year). As Pakistan climbs through the top 15 economies, spending $ 25-30 billion on defense won't be a big deal. What that means is that Pakistan at a defense spending of $ 20 billion dollars, can easily neutralize the Pakistan specific forces. All that talk of conventional parity and supremacy from India, goes down the drain.

Plus add increased global relations, many countries rely on Gawader and then, Pakistan starting to compete against India in providing educated labor through services.

All these are serious issues India faces. Pakistan is a much smaller country size wise, population and economy wise. But if it takes $ 10-20 billion of IT, Medical, R&D and other work away from India, that's still a pretty significant dent in India's revenues. So India is ALL hell bent in stopping the Chinese investment or damaging the progress through terrorism so Pakistan won't become another real pain, both militarily and economically.

While i do feel sorry for this man and the mentality,, what amuses me is on one side they think they are the world super power, poking EVERYWHERE and claiming to be THE BEST BIG THING, not only a regional power but a world leader and on other hand,,,,, SUCH INSECURITY :omghaha:

All he is saying that Pakistan has started all the wars and could misdirect this funding from China towards India. There is no denying all the military hardware, submarines you are acquiring from China are directed at us. It is not insecurity but a word of caution to be prepared for this new development.

A good example is- It is similar to the rocket launchers that Taliban has in its possession which requires new strategy to deal with them. They claim they shot down your helicopter with their new weapon which killed quite a number of people including some foreign diplomats. Would you be not worried to fly heli's in those Taliban infested areas?

That means Pakistan and China are doing the right thing.

The tit for tat approach is the funniest part though. With lower than sub-saharan income level and an agriculture-dominated economy, india providing "military support" to higher income and industrialized countries?

:pakistan:
We are also doing right things in South China sea:D

Entire project will take atleast 15 years for completion according to their official estimate .
We have 7.4% growth without any serious reforms and a single GST will round up that in to around 10%.
So atleast 7.5%+ in coming years.
Chabhar will operationalise in 2016.

AFAIK current groth of Pak is 4.1% .Right?
So lets them complete the corridor. Then we can talk about it.

And we have a lot of General and Major Generals in here.AFAIK they dont have any voice after their retirement unless they are highly decorated.Gen Bakshi is a Times Now analyst .

GoI have other eminent analysts for their policy. They dont need media support @mods please lock this.

The thing your entire corridor is nothing but a transit corridor & a backup if we ever block the ocean route
Correct me if I am wrong have the Chinese committed even a single Manufacturing project along this entire corridor
