Indian foreign minister said India will accept China navy existence in IOR!

India foreign minister Kul Sid said yesterday, India must accept China in many areas exist in the " new reality", and called on the cooperation between the decision of twenty-first Century Asian characters. SCS and IOR is so big than a single country can't swollow them all. China and India should expoit the maximum benifitd by ways of cooperation in IOR and SCS instead of military conflicts. If you put a poll of war or peace in the Chinese or Indian Forum, i would probably say 80% of Indian and Chinese will tick peace. i don't like 1962 Indian goverment, but i will prefer to go along peace with lovely Indian people.

Correct me if I am wrong but I heard that in some survey. most of the Chinese don't remember 1962 war and don't give it much importance.

I think cultural exchange from both sides can create an amicable environment which our govt.s will find easy to maneuver for better relations especially in case of India as Indians are bit emotional and unless more Indians are not taught the importance of and benefits of cooperation with China like many businessmen in India knows, it will be hard to get things rolling faster.

Personally I think that China will be way better ally for India in terms of trade than few SCS countries considering that China's growing political influence in the world. Lets see if Indians take rationality over emotions.

In 1962, Both Countries met each other the first time PLA took Tibet in the first time of history of Hans. The two big sould need to learn of adapting each other instead of being scared all days long. Both countries got off on the wrong foot, but i think our relation will improve in the future by recognizing each others' the important role to the world. Comapred to sly Western people, Indians' temper are mild and more similiar to Chinese. I will say a benevolent competition.

Only Hawk and those ignorant will spew venon and throw nuke on this forum, very few Chinese people know about China and India conflict in 1962. Our text book nearly omit the historical episode, more people know Saint Ganhdi is a great person only Nehru there is for blame. Chinese hate Japnese, not Indian(kindly like Indian). The TV in China barely braodcast something about India and China conflict, but anti-Japan Nazy sereis rolling all days. If we do not learn to defuse the situations quickly, we might see future world wars fought in ASIA mainly with all the advanced weaponery and pulling ASIA back to 1900s level.
