these are words of my father, he told me once.......he served in the navy for 32 years....and my grandfather was in army, and my great grandfather fought in WW-1, great grandfather never came back from Europe, he doesn't even have any official record that he was killed their could be MIA.....

these are words of my father, he told me once.......he served in the navy for 32 years....and my grandfather was in army, and my great grandfather fought in WW-1, great grandfather never came back from Europe, he doesn't even have any official record that he was killed their could be MIA.....

I'm really sorry for your loss.Thousands of our brave hearts fought and got martyred in Europe during WW-I.My great grandfather(maternal) also fought in WW-I although he was in the Mesopotamian/Ottoman sector.He was part of the only Bengali regiment that was formed by the Brits during WW-I.Anyways,it seems that you're going to be a fourth gen soldier

That i totally agree with.Tried really hard for the NDA but got disqualified in the physical fitness exam owing to my myopia,the same reason why my dad despite being awarded the best NCC Army cadet from Bengal didn't get the opportunity to join the Armed Forces.Anyways,best of luck for your future,i hope you'll also join the Armed forces and make your family and the nation proud
