Indian police firing killed one protester, injured several in IOK Jammu

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian paramilitary forces killed a protester and injured over a dozen others in Jammu city, today.Indian paramilitary forces resorted brute force and fired on the members of Sikh community, today, after they blocked roads by burning tyres and erecting hurdles in Jammu against the removal of posters by the authorities of a Sikh religious revolutionary leader, Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. One protester identified as Jagjit Singh was killed on spot. Bhindranwale was killed during a raid by the Indian Army on the Golden Temple on 3rd June in 1984. Indian paramilitary forces open fire on a mob of Sikh protesters at Gadigarh in Jammu city, a local police officer said. Clashes between protesters and Indian police men was continued till last reports came in.
