Indian Fishing Boat Rescued by Pakistan Navy

I doubt the Pakistan navy would have had any idea who or what was on the boat , whether adrift or under power.

Had it been the case, the news would have been beamed by every Indian channel accusing Pakistan of not helping poor , innocent, harmless Indian fishermen and how India gave medical help to some Pakistani girl.....the usual

And we all remember live pictures being beamed into every household of the so called terror boat being followed and blown up......not to mention the farce that turned out to be.

Don't feed the ungrateful troll. I am certain that those rescued sailors are grateful to the Pakistani Navy.

Good job....these are sim0le hard working peo0le and everyone should help fellow man.

Good on you PN!

That said IN and PN should learn to co-ordinate better when fishermen/civilians lives are involved from both sides. Even in this case with better co-ordination IN or PN should have rescued them much earlier. 8 days is way too long.

Oh they were shouting ''Pakistan Zindabadh'' from top of their lungs.
Anyways it's nothing unusual for Indians to ignore their citizens in distress.

instead of appreciating the good deed, we are in a fight of '8 days and 9 days' .What if pak navy left them on their own and let them rot till they die?, its not our mistake ' they made themselves stuck in trouble waters not us.

The Pakistan Navy rescued 12 Indian fishermen who were stranded in the sea for eight days.

According to the officials of Pakistan Navy, the boat of Indian fishermen had shut down due to the faults in the engine, leaving them in the sea without food or first aid facilities.

The stranded fishermen sent calls for help, following which teams of the navy reached out to them on humanitarian grounds.

The medical team of Pakistan Navy provided the fishermen with food and medical aid, while PNS Alamgir technical team fixed faults in the boat’s engine.

Jingoism on both sides of the border is fine, until it starts to effect poor people on either side.

They are just poor fisherman trying to earn a living, take them home so they can be with their families.

Good Job Pak Navy!

It's worth noting that the Indian fishing boat, S T Maris was adrift in open seas for 8 days, so it wasn't in Pakistan's territorial waters......where was the so called Blue Water Indian navy.
They are recoloring their brown water to blue so that they can call themselves a blue water navy :D
