No after detecting AMRAAM two Sukhois climbed vertically Releasing chaff and other two used their Elta 8222WB jammers.
That may work against 80s era jammer but wont work with Elta 8222WB jammer.
The Israeli jammers are simply too advanced for AMRAAM electronics and guidance system to even comprehend.
AIM120C7 might have a better chance but not the old C5.
India is a country of shameless politicians and brain dead people. If their politicians say 2+2=9, you can call in world's best mathematicians to tell them they are wrong, but the brain dead idiots will still say 2+2=9What do you mean comprehend? Perhaps that was the problem with the Israeli Missiles that shot down an MI-17 but not C-5s.
C-5s are not old. They are relatively very good and new missiles considering the R-77s here.
IAF does not have a leg to stand on.
Your view on shooting down of F-16 as now Americans have also refuted it..Sukhois hit grpund with a huge blast so it would be easily detected.
Amraams and old Dakotas don't.
More importantly Amraams disintegrated after hitting chaff a large aircraft like Sukhoi wont disintegrate if it was hit by an AMRAAM or two.
So it's wreck will be visible to all.
After all AMRAAM fell near a village
Regarding those asking why the Su-30 MKIs did not fire on F-16s on 27 Feb: The F-16s fired their AIM-120C5 from 35 km away in a Head On engagement and in the 30-40s it took for the Su-30s to neutralize the missiles, F-16s had already turned back and were almost 40 km away
This meant the engagement had been converted into a Tail Chase engagement. Now in a Tail Chase engagement the maximum range of a BVR missile like R-77 or AIM-120 is only 30-35 km as tail chase range is only 1/3rd of max range at Head On. So any R-77 fired would have been a waste
Video game fantasies for analysis. LOL....They did not outrun them but simply jammed the missle causing them to crash.
Once seeing their ANRAAMs busted the F-16s turned back in the few seconds it took for the Su-30s to return to formation.
More video game fantasies. Oh my Lord.Sukhois hit grpund with a huge blast so it would be easily detected.

Unused and confused AMRAAMS would ALWAYS find a village, near which they would fall just so they can be found easily...

Yeah man. AMRAAMs deploy small parachutes when they find a convenient village beside which they decide to fall. That is how Indians could get the missile with unscratched writing. Stupid & superstitious villagers beat the crap out of it, otherwise it would have been totally intact. And that too the only part where AIM-120C is written was unscratched...

shit sounds legit bro!Bollywood.
america views dont fit indias narrative hence usa is lying!Your view on shooting down of F-16 as now Americans have also refuted it..

Dakota is made of wood, so it would not explode, but SU-30 is made of TNT and therefore would explode to high heavens... But that won't happen if it got hit by an AMRAAM or two, or ten,...
Indian chaff is made of Titanium (& not soft Aluminium like most others), and so it works double shift as AMRAAM destroyer too...
Unused and confused AMRAAMS would ALWAYS find a village, near which they would fall just so they can be found easily...
I'll have you know that if you keep criticizing indian narrative,One of the SU-30 MKIs was carrying @Tejas Spokesman as a missile on the inner wing pylon. This most deadly missile was too precious to be used and therefore it observed everything and landed with the unharmed MKI. Later, it was unleashed on PDF.
Also note that ELTA 8222WB is shiny and new, unlike the 80s era jammers (they simply do not contain enough fruit). It uses Vedic technology delivered by India to Israel. Nothing can stand Vedic technology and that is why AMRAAMs could not comprehend it - Americans forgot to code AMRAAM in ancient & powerful Sanskrit language.
