Above all I also have Objection over 'Genderization' of the "Terror Boat" by BK Loshali so Indian Express should ask him to apologize to all females, address the mistake and correct the sentence. Or BK Loshali should avoid translating Hindi into English word by word otherwise i will overkill his language skills by my newly invented words like Genderization.

Sailing vessels have forever been referred to in the female gender. No offense meant . Out at sea left at the mercy of elements & just the wind to sail a ship it must have something to do with the sane of safety a mariner felt with his mother .

Further , it was also to do with the love a sailor has with his ship & how he respects & looks after it.

In lighter vein :"Old sailors used to answer this with a sexist joke: "Like a woman, a ship is unpredictable."

A more likely suggestion relates to the idea of goddesses and mother figures playing a protective role in looking after a ship and crew. Linked to this is the common practice of giving ships female figureheads and names, often after deities or members of a shipowner's family. Christopher Columbus famously crossed the Atlantic in a ship called La Santa Maria, named after the Virgin Mary."

His quote of biryani was in reference to kasab demanding that he has to be served chicken biryani in his regular meal, whats wrong in using it ?? and the speech was delivered in a small function to celebrate the induction of a new boat in to the service, it is not a press release. unless u consider a speech in a small function to be an official statement of the officer..

As far as this incident is concerned I think there was a video released by coast guard which very clearly shows who set the boat on fire.
