NEW DELHI: Detectives raided the home of India’s former air force chief on Wednesday as part of an investigation into alleged bribes paid to secure a $748 million contract for 12 Italian helicopters.

I cant remember reading Detectives raided the home of Pakistan's former or current air force chief or Army chief on Any-day as part of an investigation into alleged bribes paid to secure a contract for?May be thats why Indian have control on their military and we lost it long time ago.

Right! No one has the guts in Pakistan to raid any Chief's house! That's unthinkable! Forget the Chiefs, has anyone got the guts to raid any General rank officer in Pakistan? :no:

But India is a democracy run and controlled by a civilian government unlike Pakistan's lame duck government that's controlled by the Army! :azn:

I cant remember reading Detectives raided the home of Pakistan's former or current air force chief or Army chief on Any-day as part of an investigation into alleged bribes paid to secure a contract for?May be thats why Indian have control on their military and we lost it long time ago.

They ought to be kept busy and shown their limitations on regular intervals (Remember Vishnu Bhagwat?).

But most importantly, at all times they need to be kept as divided as are the different regiments of the Army - Rajput/Gurkha/Sikh... etc. Otherwise there's barely any nation where the military has not tried to grab the power - it is in the character and will have to be countered at all times in all the worlds.
