Anything less than 8% is not good enough if we have to catch up to the $ 4 trillion target.

Sri Lanka I suppose it presumes is so tiny to not be a potential threat
first learn the word difference between tiny and medium size
Neither do you........that is only possible with a leader like imran khan, which ofcourse you don't have

Large, medium, or tiny, all countries have equal right to exist! So what if Sri Lanka is tiny, it has a much higher per capita income than India and Bangladesh. Remember, England too is just an Island, and it conquered the world!
Stop this arrogance. This is what makes this region fail and become a joke when compared to other regions in the world. Take a look at North/South America, South East Asia, Europe, East Asia etc. despite having differences these countries work together. The priority of this region is to develop itself as soon as possible not to fight each other or have rivalries on useless claims. Race/religion/language/cast/tribe etc. are all belonged to the garbage bin of history. Also to the outer world, we are all the same regardless of how superior you think you are.
That's exact same thing I tried to say. with 65,610 km² with 20.1 Million People Sri Lanka remain as medium size Country. from 243 total Countries, by Population Sri Lanka is 58th Largest country. have you ever heard someone calling Taiwan which is half the size of SL, or Switzerland or Netherland called as tiny???

All the time.
I can't think of anyone calling the Netherlands, Switzerland, or Taiwan as a medium or large country. They exist mainly in names, few can point them out on the map.
Not really. East Asia could be politically divided but economically and socially you are far more integrated than South Asia. Do you know that South Asia is the least integrated region of the world? Also average East Asian people don't hate each other based on nationality except for few nationalist people. I have interacted with many Chinese people who have absolutely no problem with the Japanese people and they also travel to Japan. Take a look at South Asians, people in every single nation live their lives thinking that they are the centre of the universe so they tend to think of themselves as superior to their neighbours but for some person who's are from this region, all South Asians are the same. For instance, nowadays there's a lot of people in Sri Lanka who try to mock Indian space program as if they are belonged to some super duper advanced civilisation when they should be happy that a South Asian country has actually managed to do it. People should not look at things with a black and white perspective.East Asia works together? I guess the grass looks greener on the other side.
East Asia might be where ww3 starts.
Size doesn't matter. Sri Lankan people often compare their country with Singapore and feel bad about how things run in Sri Lanka. In this case the fact that Singapore is a tiny country doesn't cloud over the reality that it's doing better. All the time.

Exactly, that's what my point also. all those countries are smaller than Sri Lanka, whether it's by Population or by Land Area. if some one calling SL tiny, what you call Countries which are smaller than SL. Mega Tiny?
Yes completely you are right Country size does not matter

Ditto..
On the highlighted part though.. You cant judge a society by those in the online forum, especially a defence forum.. Same goes to Indians.. There are far more of them ignorant about the outside world in these threads than those who are not.. Often making idiotic posts on things they hardly know about, Or throwing fits at posts made by non Indians that might show India in negative light even if it's minute
Again completely agree
Neither do you........
First do it then talk man. I assumed same during last Pakistani elections becoz of his popularity in social media and on this forum but at the end it was tay tay fiss!!.We will have him most likely by mid 2015,inshAllah
