Well, India will not / should not COPY China.

Once Linus Torvalds said, India will have India Specific Problems and Solutions from US wont work.
US had money it spend Million to Invent a Pen for Space, Russians used a Pencil. Both Solved the same purpose.

The bottom line is, China Created its own Path, so will India.
China Wanted to be US, but did choose a different path compared to USSR/Russia and achived a far far better result.

India may not be able to compete China ECONOMICALLY, but there is a scope of A LOT of Areas, Like I said, we need India Specific Solutions to India Specific problems. Chinese Solutions wont work in India.

Infact we can not replicate chinese model in Democracy. China has no Human right. Its government can take away any land any time at any cost they decide. Here we can not pass a land acquisition bill. There is a bloody hell of a difference. In china, china as a country is rich with poor people. Government will exploit them. In India , Middle class is flourishing like anything and poverty is decreasing. It is comedown to 100 million to 170 million people according to various statistics. This is a miracle. If Modi government focus properly, They can almost eliminate it. Our economy is expanding at a rapid space but it appears low because of low value of our currency. If we are able to take some right steps in right direction, I am sure that we can surpass china in almost 3 decade. China is a gone case. Its culture is almost spoiled. Laddies prefers prostitution over work. They are found to be highly incapable in higher studies. On the other hand, India is emerging as a reservoir of skilled man power. More and more Indians are occupying the highest position in Media, corporate, education institutes, medical field, governance and research. India has an excellent soft power. In all in all we are at a stage where we can take a giant stride. We need a good non corrupt proactive leadership which is there in place. I expect, a giant stride from the position where India is right now.
