everyone including elite/politicians/army /bureaucrats etc are well protected in india except for the majority of the public.
And its always this unprotected public who pays for the protection of all the above.
he said that may be after the Amar Jawan memorial was destroyed by the illegal immi which showed hate against Army. But Gen makes sure that a mob cannot enter any base and cause havoc.
Which is exactly the point here since our bases were secure too until 2007. There won't be any threat to be secure from if there is no threat to be secure from.
That's kind of a cheap attempt at popularity, seeing as India does not have an insurgency within it's border that can compliment the TTP in terms of logistic, financial and operations capacities. India also lacks a highly porous 2250km long border with the ground zero of the Global War on Terror. Cheif's just trolling'
LET guys are definitely well trained, determined and carry out suicide attacks. They are tough nuts to crack.
Local Kashmiri are not like that, but locals also make a small % of the militants.
He was only answering a specific question by a reporter. Often news gets reported out of context - a reply without the question, or an assessment or a scenario (like a two front war) without mentioning the strategic conference where it was discussed.
This leads to incorrect interpretation.

those who come for death best punishment of such kind is to capture them alive and let them live in solitary confinement till they die naturally.Mental torturer is best punishment for such types.Determination of the attackers are death and maximum damage. It can be minimized but not possible to eliminate. They comes for death, to get death,, they will get death but with damage as gorilla and suicide bomb tactic., Hands grande, Night vision goggles and dry fruits to hold maximum time.
Threats for Chaklala airbase in Rawalpindi and Lahore as quoted by newspaper and channels.Possible next target ??
Guys I'd just like to add my two cents. I have a freind who is a relitively senior sales director of a certain defence company who deals almost exclusively in India. He is of Indian origin but was born and grew up in the UK but given India's defence shopping spree atm he spends about 8-9 months a year in India consulting with the Indian military. I have spoken of him before to those who follow by posts and he is a very reliable source of info. Anyway he specialises in naval defence solutions so has more experience with the IN and IN bases but has travelled to quite a few IA and IAF bases too. In fact he just got back a short while ago from India where he was leading a team that was completing the installation of an automatic washing system for large IAF transports namely the Super Hercs at IAF Hindon so his info is red hot. Anyway he tells me that Indian military bases are amongst the most well protected bases in the whole of any nation anywhere in the world and given he his career has taken him all over the world this is saying there are certain comma litres for all defence installations and bases in India such as a well trained and well equipped force from the Defence Security Corps (DSC) positioned at every base with its own logisitics and QRF. Also all defenc einstalltions and bases have a mandatory exclusion zone around them that prevents any sort of construction to take place in a certain zone around the locations and as such any activity near perimeters stands out clearly and is watched closely, there is even a ban on tall strictures being built in a further zone behind this zone which prevents any strictures coming up that could be used to look into a base or installation. And since 2007 it has been mandatory for pretty much every such base to have at least 3 layers of security and barriers although in sensitive bases there are many more. Addtionally it is mandatory to have CCTV, motion and seismic detectors and a QRF located on site !Wrt the QRF my freind has some pics of him posing with some of them in their full combat gear which I have seen and they look very capable- all modern gear that SOFs now have such as combat vests, knee and elbow pads, Kevlar helmets, modern rifles, side arms, hands free comes as well as decen armoured vehicles such as Marksmen and Rakshaks.Addtionally I am told that each IN bases has different levels of security depending on the nature of the base and threat perception but in the most sensitive locations the newly raised SPB are now deployed equipped, as we have seen, incredibly well they are able to secure a base by land and water as they are equipped with their own FACs and patrol boats. Assets like AWACs, SSBNs,SSNs,ACCs etc are of course incredibly well protected and for the most part their exact locations are unknown.
