In name of providing loan india actually setting debt trap in Bangladesh and Awami regime acting subsurviently pushing Bangladesh to that trap. This $ 1 billion will be used for facilitate indian transit facilitites throgh Bangladesh yet Bangladeshi tax payers has pay for indian benefit. What kind of claimed to be "elected" govt will do such a subsurvient act against its own people?

Highlight on how this is indian robbery rather than loan and how Bangladesh paying for indian development.

1) 1.75 per cent annual interest and 0.50 per cent commitment (penalty if Indian transit facility implementation is delayed) fee

2) Bangladesh government has to repay the loan within a period of 20 years with five years grace period would be provided for the credit

3) Bangladesh would have to procure goods and services at the rate of atleast 85 per cent of the total funds from India.

4) Loan would be spent for upgrading Bangladesh's infrastructure designed to set up for Indian transit facilities

$1b Indian credit spending modalities finalized

Dude!! If we don't give anything, you cry that we're cold and hostile, if we give anything you cry that we're conspiring to swindle your land. If we ignore you, you claim that we're bullying you. Tell me, WTH do you want from India?

We are in for other things except:

1) No territorial arguments with us
2) No entertaining of illegal immigration in our country.
3) Mutually signing the border fencing pact.

Beyond these, we don't give a jackhorse about whether you want to align with China, or reunite with Pakistan or dream of some magical brotherhood, or what not.

Just stop whining like a baby.

Tshering....

Dont you realize ? Bangladesh is just one of the countless countries in the world ! It is just not important on the world stage -- harsh words but this is the reality !

Def.pk is the only place where posters like idune can vent their frustrations and MBI can convincingly sell his book ....

God Bless Bangladesh ! May they carry out some economic reforms with this money !

India did not force it down your throat. With conduct of your people, I doubt they will lead to anywhere. Bangladesh will be the first pawn of Indian economic enslavement and not by force but by choice.

Yeah, I was beginning to wonder why are these two so vociferous here. Their spectrum of temper, their nodding in agreement with former and future masters and their state of illusion is only covered by some members of this place.

But seriously, repeating a thousand times here on this forum isn't going to stop Bangladeshi government from doing what they want. In fact I think the twosome are extra sour on their government because their Jamaat gang got some sort of a ban or restriction I heard on news.

you'd have to pay atleast a 6-7% interest to get a loan from the market, if at all you'll get one.

and 1.75 is too much ?

There is an authentic Hadidth from Bokhary(rah) that says, 'Inna maa'l Amalu Bin Niate', which means consequence of an action depends on its intention. IND can do all sorts of (state to state) legal businesses with BD as long as it intends good for both people but that has been missing throughout its history.

So your horse shytes get returned with ret's azz from patriotic Bangladeshi like Idune. BTW, direct emperial practice would start with this Indian loan for the first time and AWAMY-Rapist-Malauns are those disgraced breed of its facilitator IMHO.

Over Billion Dollars worth of idle money in Banks have been alluring investors but MUA by riding in Indian horses have destroyed their appetite. Unless AWAMY-Malaun's eternal debt to their dadas needed to be paid back with BD's territory, this is an absolutely unjustified loan.

Peps Quake like Bharaties riding on Westerner's neck call us unimportant whereas they themselves fight tooth and nail to sell their horses to MUA and Shanti prize(Ahem) to Hasina. Don't these Bharatis have enough open latrins and dry shyte to clean for from Kolkata to Bombay rail track? So, why poking noses here instead of getting busy over there?
