Great tactics and make them resent you even more, although that may be hard considering their hate is beyond reconciliation. Also the last time I looked the J & K police were being beaten on the streets and the BSF came to their aid and used live rounds.

1. Why only in Pakistan bordering Poonch and not in the heartland?
2. Does a rebellion in one part of a state suggest that the state should be dissolved? By that logic Balochistan should have been freedom!
3. Why only Muslim rebels? Why were the Sikhs, Buddhists and Hindus not revolting by and large?

did India hold a free and fair plebiscite to allow the Kashmiris to decide their future. Whether they wish to be part of India as per the 13th Aug 1948 UN resolution, under which Pakistan withdrew in troops from Kashmir ?
