There is a saying in India that "Har aath kos par pani badlta hai aur assi kos par khana" (In India - The water changes at every 8 miles and food at every 80 miles) That means in anywhere in India if you goes some kilometers in any direction you will have different food, spices, recipe, taste etc. etc.
