Indian Crowd Boo with "Jai Shri Ram" to Mohammad Rizwan Who Was Returning to Pavillion

It is funny to see some pakistanis to raising this.
This is what indian team had to face after visiting pakistan. Here is a pakistani fan punching kris srikant in his stomach.

That's a standard test recognized by ICC for PPE. It is falsely misinterpreted as a free circumcision campaign gone wild.

Issue is they are using religious symbols and slogans to TAUNT. It's like in Modi's India when you encounter with lowly behaviour of rowdy elements and suppose, it can not go lower than but you would surprised to see how lower man are willing to go to prove they are true Hindu. This is disgusting. Where is now 'Atithi devo bhava'? This whole show is run by the semi-literate leader for illiterate folks like you.
Come down from your high horse brother. Every time you take gods name in public you are offending someone else. Be it Aarti on speaker or Azzans on on loudspeaker. There are always people who don’t believe what you believe.
........... only that over last decade, outside world only heard these religious words during a Muslim lynching ritual in India. And crowd booed these words to make a point.
Allah Hu Akbar people hear during every terrorist attack or some Kaffir’s neck is being cut off so what is your point here?

These narrow minded creatutes can't see past their nose. Victim of their own propganda, hate is and racism is ingrined into Bharti minds and it's just a way of life for them. Being insecure and minuscule, these Indians couldn't even digest to see the Pakistani flag appearing bigger than the Indian flag.

Hindus are also praying to god. So what is wrong here?:pop:

Nobody is misbehaving, throwing things, invading pitch, just chanting, if you can't tolerate a bunch of speaking their words, there is something wrong with you.

OK. If Pakistani cricket fans chant to India "Lorra India", "Pakistani tumhary baap hain".
Then what will you say? Its OK?

In this thread there are two videos posted. and same things are there by Indians. try to check them

.
I am Muslim but i do not like to drag politics or religion in sports.
This is the reason Pakistani cricket team is not like it was before 2000s.
Hafiz might play role in this match.

But..

It is Rizwan personal life. If he even start Namaz/prayer in the ground. Even ICC has no objections.
Same is for any Indian cricketer, kohli can say "Jay Shri Ram" after making century.

But chanting or yelling on others player who belong to different religion is pure stupidity and this shows their mental problems. After Jay Shri Ram chant, he will not change his religion.

What if all Pakistani cricket fans start "Allah o Akbar", "Allah o Akbar", when kohli or rohit is returning to pavilion?
It just show how people are ignorent.

Good post. I think most Indians understand that the behavior was shameful, but they want to defend their countrymen when called out by Pakistanis.

I can't understand what is being said in the video you posted, but if it is true that they were booing Rizwan with "Jai shri Ram", that was disgraceful. That is clearly not intended as aa greeting or prayer, as some here are trying to claim.

.
Rizwan behaves like a Maulana everywhere more than a cricketer, what's the problem if people reciprocate?

Rizwan is a Muslim, he does so as part of the strength of his faith

This shit here is because of the weakness of the Hindu faith and mental baggage of the hindus

"Jai Shri Ram" is a common greeting in North India, just like "Ram Ram", " Radhe Radhe", " Jai Mata di", " Sat Sri Akal", " Salaam Walekum" , Good Morning", etc.

It's a Hindutva extremist chant

. .
This just proves how Lindus are really just insecure spineless jeets which is why they cried "don't mix religion with sports saar" but now chanting Hindu slogans themselves

it's just about feeling insecure about themselves not following their religion while others do, and this made them feel better for a second

People need to understand here that this is happening of recent events that have transpired in the India Pakistan games. Please note, there were no chants like these in 2011 World Cup or even when Pakistan toured India before. During one of the T20 World Cup games, Rizwan did Namaz on the field during the drinks break. He hadn't reached his half-century or century but just randomly out of nowhere, when Pakistan was completely on track to win the game, he did Namaz on the field in front of a majority Indian crowd. Later on, after Pakistan won the game, there were statements like this is 'Islam's win', from one of the Pakistan's ministers, as also from Waqar Younis who said Namaz in front of so many Hindus was very special for him. One of the Pakistani commentator named Bazid Khan in the post match talk with Babar said 'Kufr toot gaya'. So it's the Pakistanis who started mixing religion with sports and Pakistan could have shown graciousness on winning that T20 game but instead Pakistani fans started behaving like Bangladeshi fans since Pakistan defeats India very rarely so everyone went overboard when they defeated India. Despite this, India was still magnanimous and offered Waqar Younis a contract to be a part of the commentary panel which I feel was unnecessary.
Apart from this, people are now exposed to various clips of Pakistani players trying to propagate their religion, for example Shehzad asking Dilshan to convert back to Islam from Buddhism since he had converted to Buddhism from Islam.
Ultimately, this is a reaction to how Pakistanis have turned a simple cricket match to some kind of war by infusing religion with the sport. PCB should have told Rizwan to avoid these random acts but they didn't.
The crowd was trying to get under the skin of Rizwan because of his previous behavior, that's it. The Indian crowd doesn't do these things while playing against Afghanistan or Bangladesh for example or even to other Pakistani players. Players like Babar and Shaheen are genuinely respected in India and you wouldn't see this behavior with them.
The home crowd is expected to target certain players. Smith was target by the English crowd as well as the Indian crowd after the ball tampering scandal. Home crowd literally is the 12th man.

I agree with you..Sometimes, I think our people seriously lack even basic decency towards others. Such people are an insult to be called even Hindus/India who do not respect others.
Respect isn't a one way street. The same people would've been delighted if Rizwan had offered namaz in front of the Indian crowd after winning the game. The onus is not always on us to be decent if the other side doesn't even know what decency means.
