Yes, now we have seen how efficient Indian Police are. Only a year before we had seen in Bombay how their Commando CAT guys are. When BD police are arresting LeT and other terrorists without mistakes, the calleous Indian Police have again shown how pathetic they are. Eating too much of ghee may have ruined their brains.

When BD security agents have successfully thrown out Assamese freedom fighters, Indian police are arresting 82 yr old freedom fighters of their own. Indians should not pretend that the Indian LeT has not noticed this inefficiency. LeT people will make use of this kind of loophole in the security system.

After reading posts of many Indians, I now know they hate the Muslims of Bengal. Only a few posters have shown remorse for this mistaken police action. Indians always try to find BD citizens in every nook and corner. Their only success story was when Indian Police went to catch a million BD nationals in Arunachal, but finally had to be content with only twelve caught.

Remorse? Nope. Police guys did what was expected out of them. They asked him questions and asked him to report to police station. They did not label him terrorist (from the article, the word was used by ToI reporter, not police). They did not torture him. They reacted as YOUR police would have in case of a report of illegal indian staying in your country.

Stumper go through the account of the investigation by police and the questions asked from this tooooooooo old man, it clearly shows that Police was not at all investigating the illegal refugee status of this man.

Rather the questions were.

you can not stand the truth that indian propaganda myth have gone so far so that even an 80 years old indian, who happens to be a hindu gentleman, treated as an illegal. I know about this guy.But he was probably CIA and fled to US after stealing valuable documents.But as far as I know he was of BD origin.

Together with terror threats and espionage, I think that's why Indians are now paranoid about secutriy.But picking up a 87 year old,they should have used their sense that this man is not physically fit for conducting espionage.

Some questioned about him living him alienated,at this age he could have been patient of so many psychological problems like agoraphobia.
