On arrival of Indian helicopter...the crew came out and conveyed the message that pirates have fled from the place on seeing the helicopter...then Chinese marines entered to confirm the ship!

Never say how the crew found out the pirates have fled, its a large vessel with many places to hide. Maybe it would be better if Indian marines could rappel from the helicopters(more than 1) and provide protection to the crew immediately. No need to wait for the Chinese. They are dealing with pirates, not heavily armed insurgents with heavy weapons. I think maybe the Indians are hesitant to act as they are known to be slow to decide as evident in how long they took to order the Rafale fighter jets. In the meantime the efficient and decisive Chinese took action to board the vessel. Will be great if there is a live action video on this.

China Ignores India's Role in Rescuing Hijacked Ship From Pirates

Ah! What an ugly headline over a small issue. Its insignificant or do many Indians read Chinese news. Something like " India's Role in ... omitted from China report" would be better. No wonder relations never get better.

Picture only show 054A with the Hijacked vessel. The 2 Indian warships nowhere nearby. Is it a case of India trying to take credit for Chinese efforts. Looks like the 054A arrived 1st to the rescue.
