Indian Auto Industry

Mate go and count in the roads of BD for indian designed and produced vehicle.....

1.Actually the average life of an Indian car imported by an Indian dalal, to enrich himself with bank advance, is about 30 days. After that they are dumped in far off workshops who have space to spare. I will have to visit these junkyard / kabari khana to count great Indian vehicles.

2. But yes, MNCs do market their Indian assembled vehicles here.

Domestic car sales down 22.51% in March

Domestic car sales down 22.51% in March, bikes dip 8.32% - The Times of India

It is a shame India car sales only 1/10 of China, and they won't boast themself here like you Indians, even when your car sales decline so much.

Did any one hear say Indian Auto is the best in the world??

Go and read the facts I have mentioned in my post, I have only said the truth where we stand in Auto Industry today, more over I have only asked the Indian members to post the news about Indian Auto Industry not boasting we are the best in the world...

I created this post, because I thought there is no such sole post related to Indian Auto Industry is available - in which only Auto Industry updates can be mentioned....

It's really not Indian auto industry. MNCs are "using" India to produce / assemble their vehicles cheap. Indigenous Indian auto industry as in S Korea, Malaysia or China is really miniscule.

Well the MNC will come to a country only when they have the conducive environment in that part of world to run their business, and more over for an Auto Industry they need a robust local auto ancillary suppliers for the manufactures to run their Auto Plants and the size and volume of today's Indian Auto industry makes it one of the largest and have a bright prospect for future growth...
