Indian Astra Missile Still Needs Russian Tech To Find Targets !!

I hate to cite wikipedia as a source for any point but I guess here even that will do. Water discovery was just one of results from Chandrayaan-1. There were quite a few more observations. Refer to the link below for more.

Interestingly, even Chang'e 1 costed around 230M USD.(http://www.dailytech.com/Chinas+Lun...res+for+Historic+Sat+Landing/article33930.htm)

I believe if I were to believe that MOM was essentially Chang'e 1 for Mars and it costed around 76M USD, then its one hell of an efficient experiment, even if it was done using a 'toy' PSLV.

It's definitely a successful mission as Indians boast about it to no end. Hat is how you measure success in India, the number of boasts

Comeback when you have a 'country'.

I'm an American. It's a country. As for Taiwan, it has more qualifications to be consider a country than India. India is just a bunch kingdoms stitch together by British railroads.

Do you know what is the main purpose of a probe? It is to probe (scan) and map the moon. China has the highest resolution 3D moon map on earth. Did the probe complete any mapping of the elements and terrain? I reiterate the word COMPLETE.

MOM is not Chang'e-1, it was a modified Chandy-1, read my post again. I do not know hw much Chang'e-1 cost, btw there is no such word as 'costed'. Good if you can do it cheaper, funny how you still need to import cheap Chinese heavy equipment when you can make such things so cheap right?

You do know half the instruments for Chandy-1 was from overseas contribution right? How about does the Indian cost include launch cost? Other hidden cost? Nobody knows, can you provide me a complete breakdown? Can you explain to me why Mangal is costing even less than Chandy-1? Chandy is short for Chandrayaan btw.

Second, you assumed you discovered water right after the Americans discovered it, there were a few missions prior who claimed to have discovered water. China recently debunked all claims with the Chang'e-3 mission. Please prove us wrong in Chandy-2?

You needed a face saving exit after the probe failed after just operating half of the lifespan. Therefore, you quickly jumped to the conclusion you discovered water after the Americans announced it. The question is this, will you dare to announce it if the americans didn't do it first? There is ambiguity in your so called 'discovery'.

And yes PSLV is a toy by Chinese standards. You know why you need Ariane to launch your satellites? LOL
