Indian army looking to secede ‘Azad Kashmir’ from Pakistan on BD pattern

Some random politician making a statement to gather some votes should not be so newsworthy. India's entire foreign policy vis-a-vis Kashmir and the Pakistani stance is that according to the Simla Agreement - Kashmir is a bilateral dispute and both sides must maintain the sanctity of the LoC. India signed that agreement in an advantageous position - why would it break an agreement which works in its favor? Doesn't make an iota of sense.

Its our right to believe what we choose. If you had given justice to those families killed they wouldn't have become a negative influence. Now they are joining hands with every second person for their task of freeing Hyderabad. In India organizations like JSQM are not allowed so that hampered their hosting a political party other than their fear of persecution.

I understand you will not see an idea that calls for a carving of a state within India but you must understand the core reasons behind it.

My point here was India's issues can be exploited as well as Pakistan's have been by India. The weakness here is of our government.

The idea does have potential, but the circumstances need more attention. Domestic problems have domestic solutions when there is the room for negotiations, and Indian government is known for this quality of always having room for negotiating. Then there is very small degree of alienation in the country for unsatisfied factions, and the alienation comes from lack economic representation which is always a variable entity. In pakistan the alienation is derived from ethinic alienation rather than economic exploitation which is "almost" non-existent in India.

Hyderabad issue: The princely state of hyderabad was absolved into the territories of andhra pradesh, maharashtra and karnataka on the basis of largely the linguistic demographics. In 50 odd years, the state culture based on common language has taken deeper roots. These state have factions that are involved in maoist rebellion, which has nothing to do with a free state but demand of equal economic rights. Apart from that there are no racial or communal angle to such activities. There might be some fringe group, which has it thoughts on a new nizam, but the thought is not shared by the majority of the population of the areas hence the chance for a grassroot EP styled rebellion is remote.

East pakistan styled insurgency in India: I believe that pakistani nationalist have long tried to replicate EP styled insurgency in punjab and kashmir, to basically repay India in it's own coins, but the problem with that is pakistan has often tried situating the appreciation, instead of appreciating the situation. What it has lead to is unsuccessful rebellion in punjab on basis of religious divide. The problem with khalistan was the Sikhs were already well integrated in the country's system, and with time the integration of sikhs in the community just got better. Money, arms and logistics flowing from pakistan at that time could sustain just a few of the khalistan elements, but rest of the population were not interested in a khalistan or a war with India.

With kashmir, pakistan is holding onto the last straw with non-state actors and with more attention to detail of the rest of the world on terrorism, those tactics are nothing but hurting the cause of pro-pakistan kashmiri lobby. The most unfortunate part for pakistan the strength of constitution of India and it's democratic framework. With voter turnout in kashmir, the people of state of jammu and kashmir usually reply the kashmir question unambiguously, leaving pakistani claims high and dry in the international arena.

My point here was India's issues can be exploited as well as Pakistan's have been by India. The weakness here is of our government.
Are there cracks in India, the answer is yes, are the wide enough to drop an EP style divide, the answer is a big NO.

Katua or kattu is not uncivil. Its an anatomical classification of human sub-species per Indian Medical curriculum.

 .......

Read @muse's comments just above yours. It's not about battle tactics, and how efficiently they can be implemented. If people loose hope in the system and the federation, NOTHING in this universe can stop them from going their way. And trust you me, people I speak to have started questioning everything.

Only better economy and governance may save Pakistan. Because, nothing else will.

Oh Bhai Sahib this time around we're not fighting a 1000 miles away from our nearest base, with only a handful of personnel & platforms, embroiled in a Civil War with the local populace for months at a stretch, outmanuvered & outnumbered from all sides by a armed terrorists that fights us & then melts back into the crowd !

Isss dafaa thoraa zaraaa kaam mushkil haiii & we've learned our lessons from '71 quite well !
