In a Major Retaliation to Pakistan Armed Forces unprovoked firing, the Indian Army on Sunday, 20th October 2019 Launched Heavy Artillery Attacks targeting at least Four Newly Established Pakistan Military Units Camps and Several Pakistani Military Positions Opposite the Tangadhar sector along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Killing Five Pakistan Armed Forces Soldiers, Government sources here said.

There have been Confirmed Reports of Killing of at least Four-Five Pakistan Military Personels in the shelling by the Indian Army, which inflicted Significant Damage on the Pakistan Army Side.

The Counter-Offensive came as Two Indian Army Personnel and a Civilian were killed in Pakistan Army firing on Saturday evening 19th October 2019.

An Indian Army Official said Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked firing to assist infiltration by Pakistan Army Regular Forces into Indian Territory in Tangadhar sector last evening on 19th October 2019.

"As a result Calibrated Escalation of Area Weapons was Undertaken by the Indian Armed Forces side in which Pakistan Army, Infantry Units Launch Pads and Several Pakistan Armed Forces Posts Giving incidental protection to these Pakistan Army, Infantry Units Launch Pads and Certain Gun Positions were hit,"the Indian Army Official said.

Indian Army Official said Indian Army retains the Right to Respond at any time and any place of the choosing in Case, Pakistan Army continues to assist even Foreign Military Advisors from Across Indian Original Border Lines.

The Indian Army Sources said the Pounding of Pakistan Army positions and Newly Established Military Camps Cannot in any way be compared to Surgical Strikes carried out by the Indian Army in September 2016 on Pakistan Military Regular Forces launch pads across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Army said on Sunday that at least Nine Indian Soldiers were killed and Several injured in the Fierce Exchange of fire across the Line of Control, but Indian Army Sources rejected Pakistan Army claim.

Pakistan Military Spokesman Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor tweeted that Pakistan Armed Forces also lost one soldier and three civilians in the skirmishes.

In Muzaffarabad, Deputy Commissioner Badar Munir told Media that the Areas in Nauseri sector of District Muzaffarabad and the adjoining Jura sector of Neelum Valley were the worst hit.

Nine soldiers of the Indian Army were killed and several others injured as the Pakistan Army “effectively responded” to New Delhi’s unprovoked ceasefire violations along the Line of Control, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

In a series of tweets, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistan destroyed two Indian bunkers after Indian forces deliberately targeted civilians in Jura, Shahkot and Nousheri sectors.
He said one Pakistani soldier and three civilians were martyred in the exchange of fire, while two soldiers and five civilians suffered injuries.

Two of the five injured civilians succumbed to their injuries later, raising the number of civilian deaths to five.

Ceasefire violations indicate India’s frustration: DG ISPR

Maj Gen Ghafoor said the Indian army was targeting innocent civilians in “an attempt to justify their false claims of targeting alleged camps.”
He asserted that India’s ceasefire violations would always garner a befitting response from Pakistan. “Pakistan Army shall protect innocent civilians along LOC & inflict unbearable cost to Indian Army,” he said.
Maj Gen Ghafoor said India’s attempts to lay the ground for a false flag operation and would “continue to be exposed with truth.”

He added that the Indian military was now “raising white flag” as it faced difficulties in retrieving the dead and evacuating the injured.
The ISPR chief warned the Indians to “think before initiating unprovoked CFVs” and urged them to “respect military norms” that call for protecting innocent civilians.

He denounced the Indian media for “falsely claiming targeting of alleged camps” in Pakistan. He challenged the Indians to “get access to IOJ&K & have moral courage to cover damages caused by Pak Army.”

Maj Gen Ghafoor advised Indian journalists to learn from their Pakistani counterparts as he urged them to follow journalistic ethics and report with responsibility.

PM condemns India’s unprovoked aggression

Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian security forces on civilian population along the Line of Control in a statement issued by the PM Office.

He prayed for the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.

The premier saluted the Pakistan Army for their bravery, valiance, and giving a befitting response to Indian security forces.
