I am sure IA wouldn’t have made this bridge as their only or primary route for transportation. These types of installations are likely to be the first ones to be targeted during hostilities.
These days with precision weapons it wouldn’t be difficult to destroy a portion of a bridge.

Even India would do the same to similar infrastructures across, in case of hostilities.

The main value of this bridge is in peace time for civilians as well the Army. They would save tons of time and money. It would also ensure all year passage without the problem of bad weather affecting the connectivity.
