Indian Army Dhruv chopper crash lands in Lakhanpur of Jammu & Kashmir

. .
One observation about Chinese bots after seeing all the messages on this thread and few other threads similar to this one. These comments show the system of honour(lack of it) amongst these bots.

When a soldier falls due to anything, belonging to any country whatsoever, does so in the line of duty for his/her nation. It is an honourable act which gets a salute even from an adversary because it is honourable to do. This is the reason when you come across a memorial in the honour of fallen soldiers, you salute without any bias of which nation. This is the reason enemy soldiers are given dignified burial in certain circumstances.

But look at the comments of Chinese bots. Not only this thread but others too. For them everything is a topic for trolling. I do see few green flags still commenting about peace to the departed but NOT EVEN ONE CCP BOT.

Does China have any system of honour? I see hordes of CCP bots diving in on this post to defend their trolling behaviour and capabilities. That’s what they are.

Honor is for men , not for kids and incels.
If you are talking about observations then observe the fact that people have nothing better to do and pity there choice of priorities , and deduce there overall state of being .

You will feel better.
You are wasting too much effort writing up such posts.

Better to get off ur high horse and use this energy to teach such morality to those closer to home before moving on to ur neighbors. Just to use a recent example...when a PIA plane crashed in Karachi(just last year) that killed civilians...
...there were scores of Indians tweeting stuff like "kitnay atanki maray?"(translation: how many terrorists died?)

Hate begets hate...when thousands of Indians spew hate on all platforms imaginable...against Pakistan and China...don't expect roses in return.

As more HAL helicopters enter Indian armed forces....

This helicopter is actually a very successful program and platform. India did have help from the Germans but it has since spawned their helicopter industry for meeting many of their current requirements as well as future developments. It is operational in every military branch for them in large numbers (nearly 300) and had very few crashes in the nearly 20 years of operations.

Being forced upon the armed forces does not make it a success. As I seem to remember the IN rejected the naval variant.

It was gifted to Nepal and Maldives, Maldives returned their one.

Ecaudor bought 6, 4 crashed and they stored the other 2

Approx 200 are in Indian service, 18 now have crashed, that is almost a 10% crash rate.

In terms of meeting their current requirements, HAL is stilk producing Chetaks and Cheetah helicopters. 50 year old designs, and using Cheetahs to resupply Siachin posts, a job Dhruv was supposed to do. Indian Navy looking at alternative light choppers.

It's very hard to call it a success.

It is a successful program for sure by every measure. Not all helicopters are supposed to be shipborne. That's just Indians trying to push a square to fit in a circle.
Crashes due to pilot errors don't detract from the merits of the platform itself.
PS they rolled out the 300th helicopter last September

Many of the crashes were dude to mechanical error and Ecuador blamed HAL.

Calling it a success is stretching it a bit. It's only major export order of 6 resulted in 4 crashes and the other 2 grounded.

To give you some perspective Ecuador operates Puma, Fennec, Bell 412 and Gazelle with good safety records.

Many of helicopter crashes in PA are due to mechanical issues too. I wouldn't take Ecuador as a gauge to measure the success or failure.

Actually look at it this way. If tomorrow NAF crashes all three of it's JF-17s, would that suddenly make it a failure?
India's requirements are large enough on their own that they don't need exports to sustain the program.

My point was no other country is interested in it, despite years of marketing, and the only country that took the risk it ended in disaster.

Now Indian ones are falling out of the sky at an alarming rate, but you are entitled to your opinion
