Indian Army Dhruv chopper crash lands in Lakhanpur of Jammu & Kashmir

.
That means, it had landed safely before and I am sure all the flight safety parameters were considered. But upon taking off, suddenly caught in the wires? Pilot error?
Probably it were ultra-high power transmission lines that generated a magnetic field so strong the chopper went in for a hug and kaboom!

f-16? probably saw an f-16 in their dreams. fear is necessary.
Your head portrait is very interesting.

#BREAKING: Indian Army Dhruv chopper crash lands in Lakhanpur of Jammu & Kashmir. SSP Kathua Shalinder Mishra confirms. Two pilots who have received grievous injuries have been evacuated and rushed to Military Base Hospital nearby. More details awaited.
Dhruvs have a long history of crashes, one even crashed on a military parade in Ecuador.

My best guess, the problem is in rotor rigidity, and strong gyroscopic effects they enact.

The rigid composite rotor design is currently not fit for larger helis.

Compare this plastic thingy to amount of hardware on another larger heli:

In comparison, you can see a hinge for both blade yaw, roll, and pitch, and hydraulic dampers for loads on every axis. HAL helis in comparison are completely reliant on quite stiff plastic blade material to provide both articulation, and dampening.

HAL was too greedy, and decided to save on bearings, hinges, and hydraulics.

Most likely it was shot down by Kashmiri Mujahedeen.

Avoid creating multiple threads for same subject
Avoid quoting multiple times... :P ..

Speculation by civilian journalist arora
Eyewitness confirmed it crashed after hitting wires

Only 7-8 Dhruvs of military lost in crashes since May 2011 (since May 2011). Plus two civilian operated Dhruv losses
That means, it had landed safely before and I am sure all the flight safety parameters were considered. But upon taking off, suddenly caught in the wires? Pilot error?

The official in below video says that, had the visual from Police Station when a Military A/C (Heli in-fact) came down and heard the sound of blast. Later, came to know that Mil Chopper crash landed.

As I stated above, it says that....

The chopper, which was coming from Pathankot, was forced to make a crash-landing in an Army area in the Lakhanpur belt of the district, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kathua Shailendra Mishra told PTI.

In normal battle conditions these Make in India products FAILURE rate is mega high.

We produced a YouTube video several years ago specifically on Hal dhruv failure rate when India tried to sell to Ecuador helicopters.
