80 Afghan Cadets in India!!!

What're they gonna do other than become a backdrop for a Bollywood version of the 300 Spartans.

Why travel so far when they're home, itself. I mean India is a second home to these Afghans. They should bring over their families too. I doubt 80 families will even a put a dent on your population.

And maybe, finally you'll get some genuine Khans instead of fakes.

Does that include Punjabi khans there:partay:?

Gurkhas aren't muslim.
There is a precedent of foreign nationals serving in Indian armed forces, as Gurkhas from Nepal have done.
So we can induct these Afghan army cadets if they want.

Indian army does not discriminate based on religion. Sam Manekshaw was a Parsi. General Jacob who secured Niazi's surrender was a Jew. We have had several high ranking Indian muslim officers too (eg. Syed Ata Hasnain - Retd Lt General).

Ok, let me re-iterate. Gurkhas aren't Muslim. There hasn't been any Muslim squad under Indian army that wasn't Indian.

Stop this CAA NRC stuff, that propaganda chapter has been closed, already thousands of Afghans living in Delhi for years, CAA is for non muslim citizens because muslims created their nation on basis of 2 nation theory, and NRC is to throw out illegal immigrants like rohingyas, anyone else will get citizenship based on existing laws. If you don’t believe me and want to stay in your confirmation bias, I can’t help you.

There is no law that bars non-Indian muslims to be contributing members of Indian society including the armed forces. This is an unprecedented scenario where Army cadets of a foreign nation are stuck in India. We cant send them back as that would amount to their torture and death. If we keep them here, the best use of their skills will be in security services.

As I said, anyone else will get citizenship based on existing laws that have been present since independence, 11 years, the non muslim refugees get a discount of 6 years and they have to stay for 5 years to be eligible for citizenship because of persecution they face, Muslims are not facing persecution in Islamic countries, Afghanistan being an exception, certainly the same government has started granting e-visas to Afghan refugees and a lot of them have arrived by flight to Delhi in past few days.
