Right after our independence, Bangladesh army was created to protect us from Indian aggression. The frequent visits between top generals of both the armies and military exercises hints at the close cooperation between Bangladesh and Indian armies. If this is the case, then how would the Bangladesh army justify their annual $4.5 billion budget?

This same guy visited Dhaka less than a year ago. Here is the thread of that visit.

Then BD army chief visited India 2 months ago. Now Indian army chief came again. Frequent visits of Navy and Air Force chiefs also happening at short intervals. There are joint training exercise, India is providing seats at it's defence colleges for Bangladeshi armed Forces Personnel, talk of selling arms to Bangladesh and installing Indian surveillance radar in the coast of Bangladesh is going on. All these intense engagement with Bangladesh armed forces started only a few years ago, after Hasina govt. signed defence MoUs with India in 2017. This level of engagement has only one purpose, to neutralize the last remaining obstacle to turn Bangladesh into a satellite state. In the last 15 years, our once thriving defence relations with Muslim world largely vanished, there was a thriving defence co-operation and exchange program with China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, other Muslim countries, Western countries etc. But all are now replaced with defence engagement with India and India only.

This defence relation is closely mirroring our overall diplomatic relations with wider world. This BAL govt. abandoned our once close relation with Muslim world, it's relation with China is distant and superficial, relation with Pakistan is bitter, relation with Western democratic world is borderline hostile. Only thriving relation is with India. Anyone who still doubt Bangladesh will not turn into a full fledged Indian protectorate and a satellite state if things continue like this need to check their sanity .
