Indian anger at Pakistani Pro-Chinese stance

Right this is a collection of personal and other more general anecdotes. Many indian people I know, who are otherwise liberal and moderate, get worked up by Pakistani pro China stance.

Other indians who are more nationalist also get worked up. Indian media is full of people crying about how China is taking over.

The strange thing is a lot of indians regard this as some kind of betrayal. Strange sentiment for a enemy country to have.

Pak-China has a long history and today both countries have very strong relationship.

Yeah it's hilarious to hear their media cry about the supposed take over of pak by China. They make you believe like they care more about Pak than Pakistanis themselves. I mean WTF India, you should rather be happy that soon Pak would be no more.
Sometimes I think they genuinely believe that Pakistan is being taken for a ride. It's kinda cute.

I don't think any Indian would be upset with a Chinese takeover of Pakistan. Maybe the Chinese can instill discipline and decency to that lawless country. Pakistan is only a security threat for India, we needn't worry about competing with Pakistan in other spheres.

Indian psyche is very fvcked up. They want to have it both ways, but obviously they cannot.

It is an extremely bitter pill for India to see China grow exponentially. India is under the illusion that the China role is somehow reserved for itself, but mother nature has its way of keeping things in equilibrium. Too bad India is walking in the shadow of China and will never catch up. That too with the generous help of daddy US.

What makes it even more painful for India is to see Pakistan work so closely with China on all fronts. India is a country that is barely able to digest the partition scars. Not to even mention the Kashmiri territorial dispute. For India, Pakistan China cooperation is like a death-wish come true. They like to pretend otherwise, but some things cannot be concealed. No matter how hard you try.

Simple put. India is a poor third world country Whose people are made to believe that they are a super power. Combined with a Racist society, Highly uneducated mases, Amd hatered driven foreign policy toward Pakistan and China.

Similar problem exist in Pakistan as well. Infact even marginally behind india. But level of self dillusionment is much lower in Pakistan. Most people do recognise Pakistan is poor third world country and need to speed up.

Indians dont even understand that the mass of their huge economy is only due to there massive population.

Indian economy was always 7 to 8 times larger then Pakistan. It was the same in 1970 amd still in 2017 the size difference is same in Nominal GDP.

While chinese economy was almost equal to india in early 80s. But china left india in dusts from 90 onward till date.

Sad thing is Subcontinent stands where it was. Poor third world society.

I am yet to meet such Indians ....... most Indians already know that pakistan is china's lap dog.
