Indian air force on high alert after reported UFO sightening

Regular sightings of suspicious flying objects in and around Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport have put security agencies guarding the airport on high alert.

The Air Traffic Controller (ATC) at the Delhi airport observed flying objects three times, in and around the airport on Friday as well as on Tuesday and although a helicopter was sent for investigation, it did not find anything.
Moreover, the pilot of an Air Vistara flight from Bhubaneswar complained of being distracted by a laser beam right while landing at IGI’s runway 29 Wednesday night, endangering the lives of hundreds of passengers.

An airport official first recalls: “A member of Indian Air Force (IAF) sits at the ATC tower of Delhi airport. At 10:44am on Friday, he first noticed a flying object over runway 9-27, the smallest runway of Delhi airport. He reported two more objects at 10:50 am and 10:55 am, flying outside the airport boundary. On Tuesday, an ATC staff had claimed of having spotted a drone-like object but could not support his claim with any evidence. This time also, we do not have any evidence. But this is alarming.”

The Indian air force has been authorised to shoot down any suspicious object if needed. All security teams including the Intelligence Bureau, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Bureau for Civil Aviation Security and Delhi Police have been asked to remain vigilant of aerial threats.

Possibly someone is flying UAVs.but for what purpose??Flying around Runway without authorization is indeed a security threat.Last time,a Russian was flying these near India Gate.

UFOs are only sighted in the developed countries, one sign that India is emerging as global developed power and now Martians are taking notice and see India as a threat. I think they are checking on all the indigenous weapons India is developing and comparing with their records of Russian weapons

Possibly those two are UAVs.And It is not established that those are really planets.Some scientist explained that it may be Planets as at that altitude,Planets shines exceptionally brightly which might be mistaken.But even after that,ITBP and Army has sighted several others,especially around PangongTso Lake.

This lake is divided between India and China and incursions do happen regularly,thats why security is quite tight around here.

Army officials yet to believe those are Planets,sometimes even Satellites can be mistaken as such.

Given the fact that these objects were reported sighted n there is no info of any blip on radar so it does point towards small commercial drones that are easily available in market. I can not comment on security issue aspect of them but safety aspect should for sure be taken much seriously as Delhi airport is one of the busiest and any mishap at landings can (GOD FORBID) can prove catastrophic.

Though they were case of mistaken identity of considering Planet Venus and Jupiter for UFOs. But the rate at which such reported sightings are increasing calls for some immediate measure as if again these are some planets/low orbit sattelites then these are causing uncalled for unease in these area.
