Those are operated in huge number & in triple number to Pakistani aircrafts...
Yea but the reason is also maintenance & we are improving it day by day learning from past..Now MKI operates with 60 % home made spares..MIG 21 was once called death coffin due to lack of maintenance & serviceability rate..We have retired almost all Mig 21s & 27s....
Most of the reasons were nothing but spares...

The first ever Su-30MKI crashes in the Pokhran region, Rajasthan. The IAF’s Court of Inquiry establishes Wing Commander Vishwas Munje mistakenly switched off the warplane’s fly-by-wire system.
Crash No.2: 30 November 2009
Sukhoi crashes near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, after a fire warning. An IAF investigation attributes it to accidental ingestion of a foreign object in the engine intake.
