Two different vendors mean less aircraft per vendor. This will not incentivise the vendor to set up manufacturing and give TOT like GOI expects. If India buys F15, it should only be to replace SU 30. I don't see the fiscal room in budget to do that in near future.

Rafael makes more sense for the foreseeable future. Cost per aircraft should be lower now than the last time. Only question is to see if India's n defence budget has enough capex set aside for this!
