As I said. Says I am out. And come back.
You are quoting me for a reply and when I do you cry......you even quoted me when I said I am out lol

Decide first whether you want me stay and continue this or you want me to leave

It is you who should decide in his puny little mind what you should do. Whether stay or leave. :)

Never said I feel proud of shooting down civilian aircraft. Just gave it as an example to explain IAF's failure and defeat in 65 war.

As for Chamb Jaurian. There is nothing to be proud of when IAF started its campaign by bombing its 0own troops. And Pakistan successfully managed to keep the land till the end of war only to give it back in return for strategic Haji Pir pass that India managed to capture.

3 times mass or 30 times land mass. We had enough Indian land to get back whatever we lost and that too after defending our cities and humiliating India in the aerial combats.

I have explained about your first para ..

Now , Chamb-Jaurian ; Indian Defence ==> AMX-13 light tank , 191 Infantry Birgade , The Indian artillery consisted of just one field regiment and a troop of medium guns

The Pakistani plan was based on three phases i.e an initial breakthrough by two infantry brigades each supported by a tank regiment along two points capturing the Chamb salient east of Tawi Nala, followed by capture of Akhnur by 10 Brigade Group (including a tank regiment) and finally a northward advance by the 102 Brigade on axis Akhnur-Jhangar linking up with Pakistan’s 25 Brigade operating against Indian communications in Naushera-Jhangar area with the final objective of capturing Rajauri51 which Pakistan had lost earlier to an Indian tank squadron on 12 April 1948.

Infantry - 2:1 ; Tanks -6:1 ; Artillery - 6:1

If 191 infantry was never helped by IAF the Pakistani Army would have Cut Indian army in J&K from any reinforcement .

PS- it was Internatioanl Border .

IAF didn't do anything special with all its numeric and qualitative superiority. PAF bombed sh!t out of invading Indian forces dozens of times without any resistance from IAF. All in all IAF was comprehensively humiliated by PAF and there is something which many Indian accept too.

And forgets to provide air cover to its biggest armour thrust in Khem karan .!

Second if PAF Has humilated IAF why Pakistan army that completly outnumber Indian defence was not able to cut supply lines in Akhnoor ?

Third as per my knowledge a airforce that has upper hand in war as claimed it was PAF can at least destroy enemy forces in its territory after all they getbetter radar coverage of area from
Things like ATC .

If What you claim was reality Indian army forces @ Canal would have been roasted .!

Keeping the attack to enemy territory is something special to be appreciated .

Enough of this Drum Beating!
We must wake up now it's 2015 and what we have in our hands in front of Indian Air Force ?? Just a handful of F-16's that's it ... Please wake up PAF it's not 1965. Its nothing wrong to take pride in our achievement but in real world their are threats exist which can't be dealt with a fighter mafia mentality and we need the right people to assess the threat of future and become proactive instead of reactive force. The true words are we are not losing edge we have lost it already.
We surely have better training but we must not forget that the time has been changed and Indians are also training along the best in the world now so our edge in training is if not fading away but its reducing as I see them a professional Air force and willing to learn and above all they have colossal budget to make world circle around them so instead of bragging at our JFT we must look towards diversifying our assets by inducting at least one air superiority fighter and that could be EFT or maybe SU-35 and in addition we can induct a further custom J-10 with F-117S engines which has been praised by westerners as well so it may not a logistical nightmare for the air force. Instead of keeping our Vintage Mirage alive and spending a colossal budget with them instead we can customise a J-10 for the purpose which may become a replacement for F-16 in future with some Turkish and western avionics. As we can see India has cut down its Rafale order and it is still playing that MMRCA card so we can go with a combo of French avionics in J-10 with some customised systems and further customisation in airframe which can make it a super deadly adversary for any 4.5++ Generation plane goes in the air against them. On the other hand we can work out EFT with JFT combo through some serious purchases we can have EJ-2XX at our disposal to integrate it in JFT-III and genes of avionics from EFT to other indigenous projects.
We all have learned in near past that EFT is a proven air superiority platform after F-22 which nothing came close to it. What it actually lack is Stealth and IR Suppression but rest is all 5th Gen. This IR suppression can be worked out in EJ-2XX but I am not sure which kind of upgradation this engine gonna receive may be only thrust or may they going to make a change in core and materials for IR suppression. All in all the best purchases we can make in short time span could be SU-35 and J-10 or EFT through which we can diversify our assets and can bring in technology to enhance our manufacturing capability and fleet capability.

.
1965 is history....well done for that ...now its 2015 and PAF needs to improve a lot...PAF should plan for next 50 years.
