Look at the cost it took to prolong the life of present carrier. By the time they give India the carrier, India would have made its own carrier.
I would rather live without an aircraft carrier than shell out $3bil+ for a mere one-two year insurance when the very same insurance did not pay off when it was needed badly to maintain the numbers.

We need that Carrier. Its about time, not money.
And after this Carrier-we shouldnt ever need to buy another carrier. We'r building our first and its a good start.
UK is building bigger AC for around $4 Billion and we are getting 25 year old for close to $3 billion. It doen't make sense, I am with proffesor on this one. We should return that piece of junk. If we go to UK with this money we can get new one, within same time frame.
