It is an awesome beast.

Once I stopped my car in Mudumalai sanctuary to take a breather.

Everything still. Calm. Nothing in sight.

Till I looked again and realized this giant unmoving beast.

Totally still. Staring unmoving at me.

Huge!

Claiming as Buffalo meat, Cow meat is what is mostly available. And..good Beef tastes and is less harder compared to Carabeef. Let us remind ourselves that, Beef ban and Holy cow propaganda is now a tool in the hands of RSS to polarize Hindus so as to get maximum leverage in all Indian states considering the 2019 elections.

This is not a local kasai shop in your mohalla. We are talking about international exports here. You can not wrongly label a meat product and then export it, there are laws. Besides what fool would sell Cow meat as Buffalo meat, given that the Buffalo meat is considerably cheaper!

@Imad.Khan

Not kidding bro but the photos you posted are actually somewhat smaller younger specimens than what I saw.

At its shoulders it towers well above the roof height of a sedan. And it's WIDE in the chest.

It looked like in a full frontal charge it could easily have tipped over my 1100 kilo sedan.

So I did the sensible thing and patli galli'd from there!!!

Ya lots of yaks up north.

The funny part of our country is that gaur and yaks, truly noble animals, and relatively so few in number, are happily eaten.

While cows that run rampant like a rash everywhere, including our city roads, are protected.

Current day India has some weird priorities.

And is becoming a subject of quiet derision around the world.

Our challenged brothers and sisters running amok much like the ugly three nippled mentally challenged inappropriately sexually promiscuous adult member of the house that the family goes to great pains to hide away from visitors, but keeps popping up to grab some crotches.

Well cow is not eaten due to religion so its understandable. Maybe they should have farms where they can breed Gaur and Yaks and consume them. That way Muslims will get the beef that they want and Hindus will not get offended either. Win win for both.

Continuing on my off-topic conversation :) here are some pictures of Yaks that i found on the internet but i have never seen this one in Pakistan

Please don't spread disinformation. Gaur meat is not happily eaten and its illegal to kill one.

Your BS ignorant opinion coupled with this horrible yet funny analogy is the forum equivalent of a bowl of icecream ( humorous analogy ) topped with hot sauce and bleach ( painfully dunce, insesitive logic/opinion ). The cow is of religious significance. Its not just another food item walking around when it comes to the debate about the Indian cow. Presenting it that way helps you forget that millions consider it holy.

That's a North American Bison I think. What they call buffalo (our black ones are technically water buffalo).
