In absence of several facilities also our hockey men proved their worthness... Whats the hell going on with our cricketter's... Our media govt public should give their due respect they deserve....

here is nothing wrong going on with our cricketers. Do not forget our team is world champion and we were World's no 1 ranking team for two years. bad times come but it will be short. now enjoy today's victory.

First of five continental championships takes place - the Asian Games in China

EuroHockey Nations Championship, in Germany, decides European qualifiers
FEBRUARY-MAY 2012
Olympic qualification tournaments decide remaining places

Becoming one of the 12 teams in either the men's or women's Olympic hockey tournament largely rests on performances at one of the continental championships, such as the European Championships, in the build-up to the Games.

Alongside the host nation, the winners of the five continental championships - in Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania - are automatically entered into the Olympic competition.

The continental championships also send the two next-best European nations, and the second-placed nation from Oceania, to the men's Olympic tournament.

The women's continental championships see the second-placed teams from Europe, Oceania and Asia advance to the Games.

As a result, the 2010 Asian Games - that continent's nominated tournament - sent Pakistan's men and the Chinese and South Korean women to London 2012. The remaining continental tournaments have yet to take place.

Beyond that, three Olympic qualification tournaments will be organised in early 2012 for both men and women. The winners fill the three remaining places in each Olympic tournament.

As of now, Pakistan being the champion in Asian Games qualifies for next Olympic. India should join as champion of Asian Champion's trophy. But I am not sure. But there are options left.

I have seen him in shock from the day I joined the forum. Until recently he had signature with 'proof' that India was behind Pakistan's flood. It is always RAW and India. Even in hockey matches. So, he is always in shock, it is not recoverable. Thus most of his posts are quite shocking. lol

Good news because the other team is Pakistan.

But in hockey they are just a weak team and the real heavyweights are in Europe. We should beat Spain,Holland,Germany to be real proud.
